Hi, I'm Ed. I am an award-nominated senior lecturer at Northumbria University and a regular writer/reviewer for the British Academy of Management. I have a PhD in Networked Innovation and have presented research at several national and international management events. I've been nominated for teaching awards every year of my career, including for 'Best Supervisor' & 'Best Assessment & feedback’. I teach management, with specific expertise in strategic management, international business and entrepreneurship, delivering lectures and seminars at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. My dissertation experience covers multiple business-disciplines, therefore I'm happy to tutor students outside of my direct area of expertise.

Hobbies

I love travelling! This year I've had the good fortune of visiting Portugal, Montenegro, Thailand, Russia, South Africa and Brazil! I am also a passionate musician and have played guitar for many years. I love playing for my friends and audiences, I feel there's definitely something very special in doing that. Regarding my approach, I like to assess my students' career ambitions and personal goals. I need to know how to motivate each of my pupils individually and deeply understand their desired performance level. Furthermore, I appreciate successful tutorship is about communicating with the parent, just as much as with the student, so I'm available for progress reports via phone or email whenever requested.
